Contributions can come straight from the camera roll while the event is running, from the built-in camera, or from Messages, AirDrop and anywhere else on the phone. Owners decide who joins as a contributing member or a view-only guest, and can pause or end an event without deleting anything — albums are permanent. A view-only web link lets friends and family browse without installing the app, near-duplicate bursts from several phones are grouped into one tile, and the whole album can be downloaded as a single zip at any time. Sign in with Apple or Google, no new passwords.
