Ruby on Rails Backend Developer

You'll work closely with our product team to design, build, and maintain the backend systems that power Aralel's applications. This is a freelance engagement with flexible hours, focused on delivering clean, well-tested Rails code.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Solid knowledge of REST API design and PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable with test-driven development (RSpec or Minitest)
  • Experience with cloud deployment (Heroku, AWS, or similar)
  • Familiarity with background jobs (Sidekiq) and caching is a plus
